Missibaba is a luxury accessory label established by leather devotee Chloe Townsend in 2005. Passionate about South Africa and supporting local industry Chloe works alongside business partner Lizel Strydom from a light-flooded studio in Woodstock, Cape Town. Slow fashion devotees, the consummate team behind Missibaba take time to meticulously hand craft each unique item with patience and love.
Space For Life brings you beautifully designed and well-crafted furniture pieces and collectables from the fifties and younger. Their furniture is personally selected for excellent quality, and many of their pieces are true collector’s items designed by world renowned Scandinavian designers. Space for Life also designs and manufactures their own range of mid-century inspired furniture, and offers an interior decorating service.
Frans Smit is a full time artist and photographer living and working in Cape Town. After completing 4 years at the Free State Technikon studing photography Frans moved to London where he followed various painting courses at Chelsea College of art and design, the City Lit and also the prestigious Central Saint Martins. Frans presently works from Eastside studios in Woodstock, Cape Town. Frans was shortlisted for the Absa L‘atelier award in 2008 and 2010. In 2013 he received first prize for the Queensplate ‘Moment’ photographic competition as well as a Merit Award at the Vuleka Art Awards.
